Dear Friend,
As you may know by now I have been in Africa for over a year serving
with Mercy Ships. I am currently on their flagship, the M/V Anastasis
in Tema, Ghana where we are staying until March 2007. During this
time we will bring Hope & Healing to the people of Africa by
performing life changing and life saving operations & medical
procedures for thousands of people. We will also undertake many
Community Development Projects, from helping to build a maternity
clinic, to providing clean safe drinking water & sanitation
facilities in local villages. As well as teaching local health care
and professional workers in primary health care, the Mercy Ships
team will train local medical professionals in modern health care
techniques so they can carry on the good work after the ship leaves.
