Crew Projects:

Throughout the Liberia field service, various crew used their time to get involved in the local community. These 18 crew projects were not “have-to-dos,” rather, they are projects that got started because the crew allowed God to stir their hearts towards the needs of greater Monrovia and chose to act. Eleven orphanages received attention, with funds raised, buildings renovated, children celebrated, and Jesus’ love spread. Other projects improved schools and water conditions. A county received birthing centers, and a church was given a new building. Youth were educated about abstinence.

It seemed like everyone on the Anastasis crew had somewhere to contribute something extra at the end of the day. Countless hours and tens of thousands of dollars were donated in total, and the successes testify of an Anastasis grassroots movement that changed countless lives, including the lives of the crew who got involved. Crew projects illustrate a vibrant display of what happens when people say yes to what God is doing in a nation: they become a part of the story he is writing.
